Everybody loves our merc with a mouth and Deadpool is good! It was no surprise Deadpool dominated at the box office and DVD, Blu-ray and Digital. Awesome comic book series means an awesome movie unless it's DC and they f*ck up everything. Batman Vs. Superman sucked balls. I'm preaching to the choir. We're not here to bitch about DC...unless you want to.
A brand new video has been made announcing that Deadpool has been nominated for the Best Integrated Marketing award by Clio Key Art (via io9). Ryan Reynolds put his Deadpool suit back on (yes, he kept it) and became his best persona. Maybe he's playing himself. I can't tell.
You can watch the video here:
And if you've been living under a rock this year, then you may have missed the greatest announcement ever! Ryan will begin filming Deadpool 2 in January 2017 and it is expected to hit theaters on Jan. 12, 2018.
If you are looking for another take on Deadpool, check out the novel The Undead Pool by Derek Ailes.
Superheroes battle the living dead in this hilarious spoof on the comic book universe!
The Undead Pool is a humorous and demented origin story of former mercenary Mace Murdock, who after being subjected to an experiment from the evil clown Zarathustra that leaves him with accelerated healing powers and the hunger for human brains, adopts the alter ego The Undead Pool. Armed with his new abilities and a twisted sense of humor, he joins forces with superheroes Stable, Psychotic Menacing Schoolgirl and Tigernaut to battle Zarathustra and his zombie clown army. The comedy never ends in this science fiction and horror parody of every superhero and supervillain that comic book enthusiasts love and hate.

Today Samie Sands takes over my website with a spotlight on the novel: Lockdown.
Leah's practical joke has spiraled way out of control. Now everyone seems convinced that the apocalypse is coming - in the form of zombies. The government is calling the virus AM13, and is advising – or more like forcing - everyone to stay indoors while they 'clean up the mess'. Leah tries to persuade everyone that it was all just a horrible mistake, however she starts to see there may be more truth to it all than she first thought...

Imagine the scariest theme park possible. Is it filled with the scariest monsters ever imagined? Is it filled with ghosts or demons ready to possess anybody who dare enters? Or is it filled with ghouls with hunger for human flesh?
Author Mark Cusco Ailes thought about every possible creature before deciding on using zombies when he was outlining his post-apocalyptic series revolving around a theme park...The Z-Day Series.
Zombie Park is the first morsel in the five novel series. Inspired by the movie Jurassic Park, the novel is about a man, Ben Cutler, who wanted to build a zombie park where people could witness real zombies in a safe environment similar to a real zoo. To his surprise, one of the richest men in Indiana backs the project and makes him an instant millionaire. Unbeknownst to him, the military is using the park to develop zombie soldiers to use against the enemies of the United States. Will the zombie soldiers be an effective killing force? What happens if the zombies escape the park? Will the United States and the whole world survive a zombie apocalypse?
Zombie Park is now FREE on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited from October 2 through October 5.
