Welcome to my latest horror fiction blog. There is a lot of news about the Ailes Brothers of Terror Mark Cusco Ailes & Derek Ailes.
Mark Cusco Ailes latest novel “Zombie Park” will be released in a couple of weeks. He is currently involved in the finishing touches. Zombie Park is the first novel in the Z Day Trilogy. The second book “ZDay: Day of the Zombies”, now in the first editing stage, will be released at the beginning of 2016. He starts writing the third novel tomorrow.
I am working on the re-release of “The Day The Earth Cried” by Mark Cusco Ailes. It is his alien invasion science fiction masterpiece. Its re-issue will coincide with the theatrical release of “The 5th Wave” by Rick Yancey. Both my brother and Rick’s novels have a similar story premise. If you are a fan of Yancey’s series, then you’ll love “The Day The Earth Cried”.
We are three weeks away until Mark and I will be at the Indiana Writers’ Consortium’s Steel Pen Creative Writers' Conference and Book Fair. The Book Fair is open to the public.

Mark and I will be on the road in October promoting all of our horror anthologies. We have the big writers' conference and book sale opened for the public Saturday, October 10th at the Radission Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana 9:00 am to 8 pm. We will be one of the authors reading horror stories on Wednesday, October 14th, at Paul Henry's Art Gallery, 416 Sibley Street, Hammond, Indiana, from 7 to 9 PM. The end of October, Mark and I will post new horror short stories for Halloween on Shortfictionbreak.com.
Next Saturday, September 14, we will be at the HorrorHound Weekend convention in Indianapolis, IN where we will get professional photos taken with Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), and meet Danielle Harris for the second time in a couple of months. We are both excited since this is the first HorrorHound we will be attending. We get to meet several horror icons at all of these conventions. You can say we are addicted to horror conventions.
On Thursday, we discovered a new Halloween shop called Spirit Halloween (2891 E 81st Ave Merrillville, IN 46410 in the same parking lot as the Target ) where we found some cool new props for our upcoming book tour. We were in our horror glory. There were numerous animatronic zombies and other horror props on display. It is a dangerous place to bring your credit card. I picked up a ghost writing book that the feather pen moves when you go near it. Everything you can imagine for the perfect Halloween setting was there. If you are in the area or there is one near you, you have to check this place out. Here's one of the props that I am going to go back there next time and purchase.
For those who visit our upcoming book appearances in October and November will get to see our horror setup in person. We're taking the book tour to whole new level, a horrific one. We hope we can scare you to death.
Until next time,
