Hello all my horror fans.

AUTHOR DEREK AILES (ZOMBIE COMMAND: A HORROR ANTHOLOGY) THINKS HE'S HULK HOGAN
Everybody survived another book signing with the Ailes Brothers of Terror (Mark Cusco Ailes & I). We both had a lot of fun. Anytime Mark can talk about himself and sell books to whoever walks near our table, he has fun. For the third week in a row, we were interviewed by someone at a book appearance. Our next stop is the Valparaiso, IN Barnes & Noble on Thursday June 25, 6-8 p.m. We can't wait to see everyone there.
Zombie Command has been getting a lot of attention the past couple of weeks with 5 star reviews rolling in. It's still available at the discounted price $1.99. Journey Into the Unknown: Deluxe Horror Edition will be available on Kindle for $1.99 starting sometime tonight. That's a $1.00 savings. It's only for a limited time. If you haven't downloaded it yet, click on the link on the bottom of this blog.
My brother and I will be heading to see Jurassic World today. This is a movie made for the Ailes Brothers of Terror. I know it will be the talk of the internet for weeks to come and I'm happy they announced Chris Pratt signed on to do more of them. Speaking on Jurassic Park, my brother is well into writing Zombie Park. He took Jurassic Park, removed the dinosaurs and replaced them with zombies. The book is getting a lot of positive response from our fans. Early 2016 is still the projected release date for the novel.
Even though its several months away, my brother and I are currently designing our big display for the Indiana Writers' Consortium (IWC) Writer's Conference and Book Fair (the book fair is opened to the public). I will be dressed in a costume and our setup will be what everybody would expect from the Ailes Brothers of Terror in their favorite month of Halloween. Blood, guts, zombies and more. Rich Man's War, Poor Man's Blood by Mark Cusco Ailes & Musings From A Demented Mind by Derek Ailes & James Coon will debut at the conference.
It's time to get ready for our exciting movie.
Until Next Time
In the Sunday May 31, 2015 Northwest Indiana Times, Mark Cusco Ailes and I were featured on page 3 & 5. The article was about the Ailes Brothers of Terror who both wrote horror fiction together. It was a great promo for our work. Unfortunately, in the paper, there was no photos of Mark or I, you know the Ailes Brothers of Terror which the article was about. Here's the photo featured in the newspaper.
You can see a blurry Ailes Brothers of Terror in the background, but as clear as day there stands Elvis Presley who has nothing to do with our article. The cutout was from another author's table at the Hammond Public Library Local Authors Book Fair. The sad part was: Elvis didn't even say "Thank you, thank you very much" for stealing our spotlight. When people in our area saw the article, those that still read the newspaper, they didn't have the "I know those two" experience which we had hoped. Hell, our parents didn't see the article in the paper. We had to tell them to look for it.
One of my co-workers, Linda, who I told to keep an eye out for the article since she gets the paper, told me I should be pissed by the photo used for the article. My brother and I know how any other guest must have felt who were booked for the Ed Sullivan show the Beatles made their first appearance on. Does anybody even know who else was on that broadcast? I sure don't.
It was a great article. Of course it was. It was about us.
Until Next Time,
The Ailes Brothers of Terror have left the building
